Speedo 'Makes Waves' From LA to Tokyo
Overview
Speedo launched the “Make Waves”  campaign ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games, featuring global Speedo athletes in-and-out of the pool and exploring significant topics such as body positivity, self-expression and empowerment. As part of the inspirational campaign, the brand launched a series of 30 second films featuring rostered athletes detailing the challenges they’ve faced throughout their careers. Specifically in the U.S. featuring Olympic Medalists Caeleb Dressel, Abbey Weitzeil and Paralympic medalists Jamal Hill and Becca Meyers.
The 360°campaign features large format out-of-home activation; digital experiences; paid social on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube; online video advertisements; and retail partner activities with Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target.
